Explore equipment configurations, compare model data and share your electrical requirements for selection.
Select medium-voltage distribution equipment by circuit duty
Start with the network diagram and the switching, protection and cable-connection functions required at each point. KYN28A-12 withdrawable switchgear, HXGN-10 ring main switchgear, KY-SRM16 gas-insulated switchgear and DFW2-12/630 cable branch boxes represent different equipment arrangements. Their current, fault-duty and service-condition data must be reviewed separately.
Define the electrical and installation requirements
Provide nominal and maximum system voltage, frequency, busbar and feeder currents, fault duty, protection scheme and cable interfaces. State indoor/outdoor installation, temperature, altitude and enclosure requirements separately from the electrical ratings.
The guide to 10 kV system voltage and 12 kV equipment ratings explains a common specification question. Use the factory acceptance checklist to define configuration-specific documents and inspections.
Connect equipment selection to the project
Review power plant and substation applications and the Gaoba power plant case for application context. Case information does not replace the current project’s technical schedule.
Prepare the enquiry inputs and send the single-line diagram for review. Missing configuration values should be confirmed rather than inferred from another model.
