Engineered Distribution for Industrial & Metallurgical Plants

Arc furnaces, large motors and variable frequency drives load a network with short-circuit currents, harmonics and voltage fluctuations. Kaiyue engineers the withstand, the filtering and the protection that keep production continuous.

——Key Challenges

Duty cycles that punish distribution.

Industrial power distribution equipment is selected around the motor loads, circuit duties and operating environment. Metallurgical duty — high currents, harmonics, dust and heat — is among the harshest environments a distribution network can face.

High short-circuit currents

Frequent motor starting

Harmonic distortion

Voltage fluctuations

Dust and high temperatures

Vibration

Corrosive environments

Unplanned production downtime

06 / Solution Modules

The engineering response, module by module.

Four modules take the distribution system from withstand rating to preventive motor protection.

01

WITHSTAND

High short-circuit withstand & dynamic/thermal stability

Optimized busbar systems, switchgear and protection configurations raise short-circuit withstand and dynamic/thermal stability for high-capacity loads and high-current disturbances. Coordinated protection and fault isolation limit the impact of electrical faults on critical equipment and continuous production.

02

POWER QUALITY

Harmonic mitigation & power quality management

Active Power Filters (APF) and Static Var Generators (SVG) reduce harmonic distortion and improve power factor and power quality. They counter harmonics, reactive power and fluctuations from variable frequency drives, electric arc furnaces and large motors.

03

MOTOR PROTECTION

Intelligent motor protection & preventive maintenance

Motor protection and control systems monitor current, voltage, temperature and status in real time, with protection and abnormal-condition warnings for overload, locked rotor, phase loss and other faults. Risks surface earlier, reducing unplanned downtime.

04

ENVIRONMENT

Harsh-environment design

IP protection ratings, corrosion-resistant materials and structural designs are configured to actual conditions of high temperature, dust, vibration, moisture and corrosive environments. This improves adaptability and long-term reliability.
