Redundant Distribution for Public Infrastructure Networks

Airports, rail transit and municipal networks spread critical loads across distributed, often outdoor sites that must operate with minimal on-site attention. Kaiyue builds redundant distribution with remote operation and storage integration sized to that geography.

——Key Challenges

One network, many dispersed sites.

Public infrastructure power distribution must account for dispersed sites, essential loads and installation conditions. Public systems spread critical loads across distributed, often outdoor sites that must run without an operator standing next to them.

05 / Solution Modules

The engineering response, module by module.

Six modules combine redundancy, remote operation and storage for distributed public networks.

01

CERTIFIED

Equipment documentation

Request the technical and conformity documentation applicable to the selected equipment. Requirements and document scope are reviewed for the destination project.

02

REDUNDANCY

High-reliability & continuous power supply

Redundant architectures with dual power sources, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), UPS and backup generators transfer loads when the primary source becomes abnormal. This reduces single-point-failure impact on airports, rail transit, healthcare and municipal facilities.

03

MV-LV

MV/LV distribution & transformers

Switchgear and transformers are configured by voltage level, load capacity and environment. Safety interlocking, compartmentalized structures, pressure relief and grounding protection raise operational safety, while enhanced enclosure protection, weather resistance and corrosion-resistant designs serve outdoor and demanding environments.

04

REMOTE

Intelligent monitoring & remote operation

Smart meters, protection devices and monitoring systems capture voltage, current, power, energy, equipment status and fault data in real time, with visualization, alarms and remote monitoring. Telemetry, remote signaling, remote control and remote adjustment are integrated per project requirements to support fault analysis, maintenance and energy management.

05

POWER QUALITY

Power quality management

Active power filtering and reactive compensation address harmonics, reactive power and voltage fluctuations from large motors, variable frequency drives and nonlinear loads — improving power factor and supply quality.

06

STORAGE

Energy storage & energy management

Energy storage is configured to load characteristics and energy management requirements for peak shaving, load balancing and renewable integration. It is coordinated with distribution and energy management systems for utilization and flexibility.
