XMC Socket Distribution Box is equipment for temporary or local socket connections in industrial, commercial and building applications. Define the supply, socket circuit schedule, protection, enclosure and installation conditions for the required arrangement.
XMC Socket Distribution Box Specifications
Documented Product Data
| Parameter | Specification / configuration |
|---|---|
| Operating voltage options | 220 / 380 V AC |
| Frequency | 50 Hz |
| Supply arrangement | Single-phase or three-phase, according to configuration |
| Operating current | Up to 125 A for the described arrangement |
| Circuit functions | Socket distribution with selected overload, short-circuit and residual-current protection |
| Earthing arrangement | TN-S in the supplied construction description |
Ratings and options apply to the selected configuration. The agreed drawings and equipment schedule define the supplied assembly.
Temporary and local power distribution
The box provides an organized connection point for the selected socket circuits. The incoming supply, number of sockets and individual circuit duties should be defined from the connected equipment. Socket colors and exterior appearance do not determine their exact current ratings; the selected socket specification and wiring schedule define the electrical duty.
Protection and operating access
Protective devices and residual-current protection are selected for the actual circuits. The enclosure, internal separation, access and cable connection method should be reviewed for the installation location. Mechanical dimensions, mounting and any additional weather protection are confirmed for the chosen assembly.
Select the socket schedule
Provide the required number of single- and three-phase outlets, connector types and individual load currents. The circuit arrangement can then be coordinated with the incoming capacity and earthing requirements without assuming that every outlet carries the full box incoming current.
