Available ratings depend on the selected configuration. Provide the single-line diagram, load schedule, system voltage and prospective short-circuit current for selection.
Selection questions for GCS-II
When should a project specify withdrawable units?
Define the outgoing circuit duties, planned maintenance approach and spare-unit requirements. Confirm unit sizes, connection positions, interlocks and handling access for the offered assembly. Withdrawability alone does not establish uninterrupted operation or permission for live replacement.
How should it be compared with fixed switchgear?
Compare equivalent circuit duties, ratings, protection and environmental conditions. GGD fixed switchgear is a different construction example; the fixed versus withdrawable guide sets out the purchasing questions without assuming the two series are interchangeable.
Use the industrial application requirements to define the load schedule. Agree the FAT records and witness scope and include them with the quotation inputs.
